The carver for this sculpture, who has an initial of "CA ", has been doing carving works since 2001. He is specializing in carving Horse, Octopus, and Sea-Turtle. He was a Jadeite carver before he works with other stones.
From designing to carving, this piece of sculpture took a skillful carver 6 days to carve and additional 9 hours to polish.
Serpentine is said to earn its name either to its serpent-like colors and patterns. It's color is very unique amount other gemstones
