Product Description
The Laguiole knife has been crafted in the heart of France for over 200 years. The bumblebee that is found on all of the Laguiole knives is one of the emblems of the area signifying its reliability. The blade is made of high-grade stainless steel, is stamped, ground and then polished with over 25 different manual production stages.
Laguiole products are quality controlled at each step of production, with care to assure good workmanship, in order to provide consumers with pleasure and the assurance of long lasting use.
We present a set of six Laguiole Steak Knives with finely crafted, genuine olivewood handles in a wooden case. Each knife is signed by Jean Dubost. Dubost Colas Pradel was founded in 1920 by Monsieur Pierre Dubost, a professional in cutlery, who was himself a cutler's son and maker of the famous Laguiole knives. Despite having started in a small workshop, production grew rapidly under the inspiration of Jean Dubost, the founder's son, who gave his name to the famous flatware line and the world-renowned steak knives.
